Filled it with chicken noodle soup at 7am and my daughter said it was still warm at lunch. The 12 oz size is perfect for her age and the lid hasn't leaked once in her backpack.
The 18/8 stainless steel feels way sturdier than the plastic one we had before, and it hasn't dented once despite my son dropping it constantly. Only gripe is it's a bit narrow to spoon food out of, but the insulation really does its job.
My daughter's soup was still warm at lunchtime, which surprised me since I just pour it in at 7am. Only gripe is the lid takes a bit of twisting to get fully sealed, but it hasn't leaked in her backpack yet.
