My 6-month-old finally stopped gagging on solids thanks to the pouch holes that only let tiny bits through. I fill it with steamed carrot, snap the silicone lid on, and the suction base actually stays put on the highchair tray.
Froze some pureed mango in the tray overnight and it popped right into the feeder without a fight. The little holes let just enough through that my 7-month-old stays busy but doesn't gag, which was my main worry with starting solids.
