The raised edge actually works — my two-year-old manages to scoop yogurt without half of it ending up on the tray. They've survived the dishwasher daily for a month and still look new.
These have completely replaced our plastic ones. The raised edge actually helps my daughter scoop her yogurt instead of chasing it around the plate, and they look nice enough to leave out on the table.
My toddler used to push food right off the edge, but the raised rim actually keeps things on the plate now. They clean up way easier than the plastic ones I had before, and they don't look babyish on the table.
